Christian Initiation

The Christian Initiation of Adults is a process whereby adults seeking to join the Catholic Church begin a journey together towards full initiation within the Catholic Community. Adults who have not celebrated any of the sacraments largely compose this group. However, adults who have been baptized but have not celebrated any of the other sacraments are invited to be a part of this process.

The entire process is centered around your faith development. It is hoped that through this journey together, you, along with the entire faith community will grow more deeply in their relationship with God, with one another and in our relationship with our belief system, the Catholic Tradition.

The Christian Initiation process at Corpus Christi is ongoing, meaning that one can enter into this process at any time during the year.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS
We invite all adults who are seeking to become fully initiated members of the Catholic community to join this process. It requires a commitment to weekly sessions, celebrations of rituals throughout the year, two single-day retreats, and an eagerness to explore your faith. The decision is yours to make. Reflect carefully upon it, and if the Spirit moves you, come and see what the process is all about. Your readiness for full initiation will be determined by you and your sponsors, so the process can take as long as you would like it to.
