Preparation for Confirmation is a two-year journey beginning fall of the freshman year, with Confirmation celebrated in May of the sophomore year. Students must provide a Baptismal certificate at registration. Full participation in classes, liturgies, service projects, regional gatherings, retreats, days of reflection, and meeting with sponsors on a regular basis is required. The dates, times, and locations of Confirmation retreats are announced when available each year, with a day of reflection the first year and a weekend retreat the second year. The sacrament of Confirmation empowers the candidates to serve and to witness for Jesus to the parish, community, and world. The sacrament is celebrated with the faith community where the candidate worships, not in a school. Call Maria Juvera at 719-633-1457 for more information.
