Individual parishioners and parish families are welcome to join this ministry. Duties consist of a gentle greeting and welcoming of the congregation, seating and assisting the congregation where needed; i.e., opening or closing doors and windows, and taking up the collection. After Mass, they distribute bulletins, pick up papers and trash, and replace hymnals in the pews. Younger members of the parish may assist in this ministry with their families. Since it is an honor to assist at the Liturgy, Hospitality Ministers are held especially responsible to fulfill their duties when scheduled. See scheduling policy for more details.
