About Corpus Christi...

Corpus Christi Parish currently has approximately 1400 families registered. We are a Total Stewardship parish.  We support our parish through stewardship of time, talent & treasure.

Corpus Christi is part of the Diocese of Colorado Springs.

Corpus Christi was founded in 1916 by Father Felix C. Abel.  The parish was formed from St. Mary's Parish, and embraced the missions of Palmer Lake, Monument, Modern Woodmen of America Sanitarium, and the north end of Colorado Springs.  The new parish was comprised of Catholics of English, Italian, Spanish, and Slavic descent. Many of their descendants are still in the parish today. A Baptist church building at the corner of Tejon and Caramillo Streets was purchased and moved to the site of the present church. The first Mass in the new parish was celebrated by Fr. Abel on October 28, 1917.
