2006 Camp Information

Cub Scout Summer Day Camp
    For boys entering grades 2-5 in September, 2006
    Frontier District camp is July 11-14th (check-in 7:45-8:15 am; check-out 3:30-4pm)
    Cost is $71 per camper
   
Camp Flyer
     What to bring  (camper t-shirts, hats, water bottle, and patch are provided)

    New This Year:
   
-  One registration form filled out per family + 1 health form per participant
    - Training will be held prior to the week of camp (Not on the Monday of camp week)

    REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY APRIL 17 @ 2:30 PM.
   
FORMS MAY BE TURNED IN TO THE CORPUS CHRISTI SCHOOL OFFICE
    PLEASE FILL OUT ALL REGISTRATION FORMS COMPLETELY

    WE NEED THE FOLLOWING ADULT VOLUNTEERS:
    These positions must be filled in order to send our boys to camp!!!
   
(Please see the volunteer description pages in the adult volunteer section below)
    Anyone attending camp for 4 days receives a Free t-shirt and Free Mini-Camp for
    up to three siblings; must purchase t-shirt for each mini-camper.
   
1.  Emergency Pack Contact
    2.  One 4-day Staffer per 10 boys attending camp each day. 
    3.  One Adult Walk Along per 5 scouts attending camp each day. (these adults walk with their
          Home Pack each day)
    4.  One Adult Mini-Camp Volunteer per every 5 Mini-campers each day.
    5.  One of the Following:
            -Camp Loader for the Saturday before your designated camp
            -Camp Setter for the day before your camp starts
            -Camp Recovery Rep for the Friday of camp
            -Camp Arranger for the Saturday after camp

    Mandatory Registration Forms for ALL Children and Adults:
   
1.  THE CAMP REGISTRATION FORM IS 1 - 11X17" 4-SECTION FORM
          CONTACT YOUR DEN LEADER FOR THIS FORM.  (Fill out 1 form per family)
          Register scouts as to what rank they will be in September.  Cubs = Wolf or Bear;
           Webs = Webelos I and II. 
   
2.  Health Form (one per camper or adult)

    Adult Volunteer Training:
    1.  Volunteer position descriptions/requirements: page 1, 2, 3   
    2.  Mandatory General Training
    3.  First Aid and CPR
    4.  Shooting Sports

    Optional Registration Forms: (must also complete the health form)
   
1.  Scout Team (grades 5-12)
    2.  Junior Staff (ages 14 and older)
