Altar Guild
This ministry is responsible for creating floral arrangements, banners, decorations and environmental displays for the Liturgy. All those who can sew, draw, paint, do woodworking, arrange flowers, or have an eye for the environment, or can help decorate are encouraged to join this special ministry.
The altar guild meets as needed to plan and implement decorating the church for each liturgical season.

Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
Ushers and Hospitality Greeters
Individual parishioners and parish families are welcome to join this ministry.
Duties consist of a gentle greeting and welcoming of the congregation, seating and assisting the congregation where needed; i.e., opening or closing doors and windows, and taking up the collection. After Mass, they distribute bulletins, pick up papers and trash, and replace hymnals in the pews.
Younger members of the parish may assist in this ministry with their families.

Sacristans
The job of the Sacristans is to ensure that each Mass runs smoothly. While it is impossible to list every nuance of the task, some of the major functions include:
Making sure the building is unlocked and accessible Preparing bread and wine in appropriate quantities for the congregation Preparing the vessels for communion Making sure that all scheduled liturgical ministers are present, or substitutes are found Making sure that the altar servers perform their jobs correctly The head sacristan is Marge Knight. She can be reached through the parish office at 719-633-1457. Marge is sacristan for the 7:30 Sunday Mass, and most of the weekday Masses.
